BLUE SHOES AND HAPPINESS, the seventh in Alexander McCall Smith's No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series, is undoubtedly the best yet.

Comfort reading. I am back visiting some old friends who feel solid, comfortable and much love for their astute observation of life.

There are so many great reviews of these books that it is hard to not be repetitive. This book was one of my favorites because of Mma Makutsi and her "blue shoes.
