Split Second

I saw the TV series first and enjoyed it. Sean King is distracted by something for a split second and then a presidential candidate is dead.

This was my first Baldacci novel and like Lee Child I immediately understood why his books are so popular. They are very readable and certainly page-turners.

Fairly entertaining read with twisted and layered intrigue and main heroes easy to root for, even though the multitude of characters will test your memory. My main difficulty is the villain who is so over the top and theatrical that he becomes comical.
